These are all short, boss-only missions (they're not supported by the trainer as of right now due to those bosses leading to major issues when done in coop). The exceptions are missions 6, 18, 19, 20, and final stage of BP. So even though Capcom did a good job with the netcode, it's barely a thing in the game.īut this mod changes that! It adds coop to almost the entire game.
It supports drop-in/out, I haven't had any issues with disconnects due to buggy netcode (well, except for the awkward decision to make the pause menu lead to instant disconnects), fighting enemies alongside 2 other players feel smooth, during mission 7 it will play cutscenes at the same time and it allows players to vote skip cutscenes, you can be at different ends of missions and still be connected, and players can even play on different difficulties while connected to each other (human/devil hunter or sos/dmd)!īut the coop in DMC5 has one huge downside: there is only real-time coop in one and a half missions (and that one full mission is extremely short). To add some context for people who aren't too familiar with how the coop worked in the base game: Capcom was exhaustive with the netcode.
This trainer has been in the works for a while by Dante and Razor, and yesterday they reached a big milestone by adding coop to Bloody Palace!
